Marta Rose-Thorpe is a serial intrapreneur whose career has oscillated between Fortune 500 corporate marketing jobs and launching/operating three of her own marketing organizations. She graduated from UCF in Orlando with a degree in Advertising and Public Relations, then relocated to Los Angeles where she worked at numerous advertising agencies, both large and boutique, as well as Coldwell Banker’s Greater Los Angeles Regional office. During her 18 years in California, she launched a PR firm and later an event production company. She moved back to Florida in 2004 and took on the Director of Communications position for the Panama City Beach Chamber of Commerce for 9 years, followed by 4 years as the Strategic Branding & Events Manager for the new Harley-Davidson of Panama City Beach. In 2016, Marta launched Marta Rose Productions, a marketing consulting firm in the publishing and digital media space, helping small to mid-sized local businesses. Marta is married to her “Life mate and Rock” Jimy Thorpe, and the two enjoy life with their teenage sons, Leo and Cruz. When not working, Marta enjoys hosting networking events, ballroom dancing, piano & singing, working out, cooking, traveling, and caring for the family’s three cats.
