David M. Costa is an entrepreneur, family man, and business leader who owns and operates 17 McDonald’s restaurants across Northwest Florida with his family. These restaurants are located in cities primarily along the gulf coast, including Panama City, Panama City Beach, Blountstown, Marianna, Madison, and soon, Santa Rosa Beach. Costa Enterprises was established with the goal of surpassing customer expectations and ensuring a positive experience for each customer. Presently, the company employs over 1,000 individuals and caters to more than 20,000 customers daily.

Costa has been a McDonald’s franchise owner for the past 20 years and became one of the company’s youngest franchisees when he was just 23 years old. His association with the restaurant industry dates back to 1993 when he began his career with McDonald’s in Mobile, AL. Beyond managing McDonald’s franchises, Costa is deeply passionate about leadership development. He is actively involved in McDonald’s leadership programs and holds positions on the McDonald’s National Executive Leadership Team and the McDonald’s National People Team Chairman. He also travels across the country to assist other McDonald’s owner/operators in leading their businesses through effective people management.

David Costa is an alumnus of the University of West Florida, where he earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration, and the University of Florida, where he completed his Master of Business Administration. His engagement with McDonald’s leadership initiatives and his community reflects his dedication to nurturing future leaders. Costa is committed to helping young individuals succeed, contribute to their communities, and pursue their personal ambitions with confidence.

On a personal note, David is married to Mary Jane Costa, and they have six children. The Costa family enjoys traveling the world in search of the finest restaurants, coffee, and cocktails. These journeys also offer them the opportunity to expose their children to diverse cultures.
