Dave King painted his way through a Computer Science degree before joining a muli-billion-dollar hedge fund in 2002. After retiring in 2018, Dave set out to enjoy a life of leisure in South Walton.

“A workaholic by nature, early retirement did not suit me well. In fact, it nearly killed me. Through insights gained from a recent near-death experience, I decided to build a business that gave me a true sense of purpose.”

In 2022, Dave King launched SOWAL House, a private social club and independent media company. SOWAL House brings together Dave’s extensive background in technology and passion for art in its many forms. The space with unique works of art, and each piece reflects the playfulness and unique character of SOWAL House and its mission; to be a place of cultural significance.
