Semmuel Jenkins
Born in Tacoma, Washington and raised in Pensacola, Florida, Semmuel Jenkins is a creative entrepreneur and marketing strategist who has built his career on resilience, reinvention, and results. His journey started with real challenges—growing up with albinism, moving through more than 20 different schools, and navigating the weight of constant change. But through it all, creativity became his way forward.
At sixteen, his debut single racked up 30,000 views in just one day, launching his music career and lighting a fire for storytelling and digital connection. After losing his mentor, he taught himself music production and branding from scratch, sharpening the skills that would later shape his success.
In 2020, during a season marked by struggle and uncertainty, Semmuel created “do dat (TikTok Resume)” alongside his longtime friend and business partner Derek Ogden. The song went viral, sparked a global conversation around personal branding, and collected more than 3 billion views. That wave of momentum opened the door to consulting with major brands like Snapchat, L’Oréal, and DraftKings.
Since then, Semmuel has helped both local businesses and national campaigns improve their visibility, tell better stories, and grow their revenue through clear, creative marketing strategies that actually work.
In 2025, he co-founded BORN (Best of Right Now) with social media powerhouses Erica Rankin and Gillian Gallant. The consulting and content distribution agency hit the ground running, helping clients generate over $1.5 million in new revenue within just the first three months.
That same year, seeing a need for affordable marketing support, Semmuel launched UP365, a monthly content creation and scheduling service priced at just $365. The goal was simple—give small businesses access to great content without breaking their budget.
Today, Semmuel serves as Chief Marketing Officer and shareholder at Overwatch by RescAlert, working alongside CEO Jakob Carmichael. In 2025, the company designed and deployed a $1.9 million emergency management software solution for the City of San Antonio and Comal County. The system’s AI alerted first responders 13 hours before the devastating Texas floods, giving teams the time they needed to prepare and evacuate. It was a powerful reminder of how the right tools—and the right timing—can save lives.
Outside of work, Semmuel still makes music, loves playing basketball and pickleball, and cherishes time with his family. And while he’s proud of the businesses he’s built and the brands he’s helped grow, he says the accomplishment that means the most to him is getting baptized earlier this year. For Semmuel, faith is not just part of the story—it’s the foundation that keeps him grounded as he continues to grow, serve, and lead with purpose.
